What is poetry? Is what some people ask
Is it a stream of questions only I can ask
Maybe its' freedom from notarized speech
or could it be the words willing to preach
Laid back is the melody of poetry
skilled yet gentle is the speech and floetry
like bullets ripping and splitting open skin
poetry is that powerful
as like that of closest Kin
Still be thy style: outrageous is thy path
poetry is thy hurricane
with an unbeatable wrath
You say poetry brings madness
If so why is it that poetry cures sadness
Sudden as the snow: But as calm as the wind
Poetry is that of method
that can be the start of a true trend
Like a childs true nature: It's spoken freely
